Chain brackets DIN 5699

Compared with the type acc. to DIN 745, RUD chain brackets acc. to DIN 5699 show considerably higher breaking load values, thus a higher security in operation can be achieved. Concerning the conversion from brackets of the old standard DIN 745 is existing installations to the new type DIN 5699 it must be considered that in the case of buckets with sidewall fastening there will be a greater distance between the chain wheels. In the case of bucket elevators with rear-mounted buckets and plain wheels, it must be ensured that the chain brackets do not ride up in the bottom of the groove. We recommend using chain brackets with distance collars. In most cases, the lack of distance collars is the reason for broken brackets.
