1: only after consultation with RUD 2: acc. to agreement with the employer's liability insurance association 3: Contact of high tensile case-hardened chains with saline media will lead to corrosion by immersion or repeated moistening and air-drying. In extreme conditions hydrogen can be absorbed at the chain surface and diffuse into the metallic structure. As a result hydrogen-induced embrittlement or fissures are to be expected. Applications of this kind require special know-how regarding chain selection. A consultation with the manufacturer is essential.

Prerequisite for the RUD special qualities is the compliance with DIN EN 818-7, DIN 685 and DIN 5684.
