RUD-Hoist chains

RUD chains, due to their excellent core toughness, have high breaking strength and resistance to brittle fracture.These characteristics, together with a high wear resistance and fatigue life determine the quality of a hoist chain for lifting.

Generally, with increased case hardening depth the breaking strength of round steel link chain decreases. RUD chains combine an extraordinary high strength and toughness with very high wear resistance. These are the characteristics required for safe operation of heavy duty hoisting devices.

As mechanical and tribological demands of a chain are dependant in strength and relation on the installation in which the chain is used, RUD offers chains and components in special qualities in differing combinations of wear resistance, to cater for all requirements.
