RUD is aware of its social responsibility and acts accordingly

The RUD Group – world market leader of innovative round steel chain systems for lifting, pulling and conveying – has committed itself to long-term sponsorship of the Alsbachtal Association for the Spastic and Other Physically Handicapped in Oberhausen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. With a substantial annual donation of 1,000 euros and other donations in kind, RUD has joined a group of well-known sponsors, who are not only sponsoring sporting activities but also providing long-term support to groups of mentally and physically handicapped people.

Alsbachtal is a centre for handicapped people, where they are assisted on their path through life, from early support in the kindergarten through to preparation for their later working lives.

Jens Christiansen, head of European Sales for RUD hitching gear systems, said, "As a successfully growing family firm, we are very glad to be able to give our active support to this initiative because, at all our locations, we simply feel seriously committed to putting our social responsibility into practice."
