RUD is entering the 2007/2008 winter season with additional chain sizes, detailed improvements, and new storage bags and guides. The top-of-the-range Centrax model is now supplied in a new improved bag, which can hold larger size chains and makes storage easier. Completely redesigned fitting instructions make the Centrax and Easy2go even easier to fit..

The new fitting instructions come in a handy size that can be stored in the glove compartment with the driver's vehicle manual. Owners of a Centrax or Easy2go who would like the new fitting guide can download it from the RUD home page (www.rud.com).

Easier basic fitting

RUD has made the already very easy fitting of the Centrax even simpler. A new, ergonomically designed tool speeds up and simplifies the one-off basic fitting of the adapter on a wheel bolt.
It is now also easier to store the Centrax after use. The high quality, cloth carry bag now has more room inside. It can also be folded out and used as an underlay, for example when fitting the Centrax in snow. This prevents clothing from getting dirty. RUD encloses a pair of gloves with each set of snow chains to keep hands clean too.

New dimensions

The top-of-the-range Centrax model is now also available in sizes to fit large SUVs. Four new dimensions enable this self-fitting chain to be fitted on models such as the Audi Q7, BMW X5, Mercedes M and R classes, Porsche Cayenne, Volkswagen Touareg and the Volvo XC90. The new Centrax sizes also fit Hyundai, Opel, Land Rover, Nissan and Toyota SUVs. Tyres up to size 255/50-19 can run with this user-friendly chain.
