We are seeking to appoint a

Development Engineer (m/f)

as soon as possible

Your range of responsibilities:

• General: planning, control and execution of internal and external R&D activities
• Preparing and analyzing specifications for the design of chains and chain components
• Planning and coordinating activities with Sales & Marketing and other departments
• Preparing and producing R&D documentation, reporting on schedules, preparing & delivering internal and customer presentations
• Participating in, and leading, workshops and assessments in the Development Dept.
• Holding internal and supplier coordination meetings

Your profile:

• Engineering degree (university / institute of higher education), speciality: general mechanical engineering
• At least 3-5 years of experience in R&D
• Experience of design methodology and development processes
• Good English language skills
• Prepared to travel (occasionally)
• Able to work on own initiative, committed and flexible, able to work in a team, loyal, good coordination skills
• Able to appreciate requirements and problems from the other person's point of view
• Knowledge of MS Office and SAP
• In-depth knowledge of CAD, preferably ProE
• Experience with FEM calculations and their assessment
