To improve our web service, we use Google Analytics, a web service by Google inc. ("Google") Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files which are saved on your computer and allow the analysis of your use of the web page. Collection and processing of personal data
RUD will only collect, store and process your personal data as permitted by applicable law or with your permission.

Some data will be collected automatically and for technical reasons as soon as you visit our web page. This includes your web server’s log data. Each time you access one of our pages or request a file, that process leads to log data being stored in a log file on our server.
Each data set includes:
- the page from which the new page or file was requested
- the name of the requested page or file
- the date and time of the request, successful processing and server utilisation at the time of the request
- the transferred data volume
- the IP address assigned to you by your provider
- your log-in information for the respective web service, in case you sign in with a user account
- Client Detection (mobile, desktop, etc.)

The saved data are evaluated exclusively anonymously for statistical purposes.
Cookies are small files containing a string of characters that contains certain information in an open or encrypted format. Cookies are small data files that are sent to and stored on your computer by a web site server. They are primarily used to identify the computer from which a web page was requested. If you sign in on a web page, cookies are used to communicate your sign-in to the server and verify four authorisation to request a web page. Each cookie contains an expiration date. Cookies can be used to trace the path of each user through various sub-pages of the home page and through other web pages. Cookies can improve the communication between our server and your computer and thus make using a web page more comfortable. Aide from the respective web page’s provider, cookies can also originate from third-party providers. RUD is also present on various Social Media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. We want to offer you the best customer service possible. Queries directed at those channels will therefore be redirected and processed internally.
You have to create an account with the respective provider in order to contact us via Social Media. The provider might collect, process and use personal data. The provider may receive additional information about your general Internet usage via cookies and/or if you log in to the respective provider's service while using our web page. RUD has no influence on the nature, scope and processing of that data. RUD receives no personal data about you from those providers. II. Individual Services
Snow Chain Advisor and Web Shop
RUD's Snow Chain Advisor offers you the opportunity to select the right snow chains for your vehicle. This service requires information about your vehicle. That information will not be stored or evaluated in relation with you by us or the provider tasked with technical management of the application.
We evaluate only data required for order processing and confirmation, including: Company or first name, surname, street address, post code, city, country, e-mail address (for order confirmation). The boxes marked with * are mandatory.
For credit card payment, you must enter the full credit card data, meaning the credit card number, expiry date, name of the card holder and the CVC code (three- or four-digit code on the back of the card). Direct debit payment requires the name of the account holder, name of the bank, bank code and account number.
The buyer's personal data is automatically encrypted via SSL Protocol (Secure Sockets Layer Protocol). SSL is the industry standard for the transfer of confidential data via the Internet. The buyer's personal data is collected, processed and used explicitly for order processing in accordance with the regulations of the German Data Protection Act.
A credit query is conducted prior to each order. We acquire information on your payment behaviour and credit worthiness based on mathematical and statistical methods and including your address details from B+S Card Service GmbH, Lyoner Straße 9, D-60528 Frankfurt/Main. We decide whether your order will be processed based on the results of the credit query
RUD on Rock photo gallery
We publish photos from our RUD on Rock event every year. If you are visible on one of the pictures and do not agree with the publication, please contact us. We will remove the respective photos immediately. The contact data can be found in "Information and Contact"
III. Information and Contact
You remain in control of all personal data you provide to us online. Upon request, we will gladly provide written information about any personal data that we have collected, free of charge. You can also request deletion of any saved data as long as it is not required for processing of any contractual relationships between and RUD and we are not legally obliged to store the data.
