ICE identification tag with an integrated chain testing gauge, complete with a fastening chain.

The following chain characteristics can be tested with the gauge:

  • Wear of nominal diameter.
  • Pitch elongation (caused by wear of nominal diameter)
  • Plastic elongation caused by overloading.
