RUD Senior Chef Dr Hansjörg Rieger honoured with a lifetime’s work achievement award.
Dr Hansjörg Rieger embodies the typical Swabian family entrepreneur. He was honoured for his lifetime’s work achievement by the Savings Bank Association of Baden-Württemberg on Tuesday evening in Stuttgart.
On the evening of 13 June 2023, the Minister of Economic Affairs, Dr Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut MdL, and the President of the Savings Bank, Peter Schneider, honoured five start-ups with the Baden-Württemberg Start-up Prize at the Savings Bank Academy in Stuttgart. This was the 20th time that a deserving entrepreneur was honoured for his or her lifetime achievement. This year, Dr Hansjoerg Rieger received this great honour.
Dr Hansjörg Rieger, Managing Director of RUD Ketten Rieger & Dietz GmbH u. Co. KG from Aalen, passionate about his chain technology. He is one of the most renowned entrepreneurs in the east Württemberg region. In his role as Senior Executive of the global RUD Group, he is at the forefront of the organisation and actively advises on the operations management which is run by his three sons, Jörg Rieger, Ph.D., Dipl.-Ing. Johannes Rieger and Dr Benjamin Rieger.
