Lifting point or lashing point?

Lifting points are often used for lashing purposes. The former, however, originate from lifting technology and therefore they are not marked with the permissible tensile force LC (lashing capacity [daN]) but with a working load limit statement [t]. Attention: Lashing points and lifting points are subject to different safety factors.

In order to meet practical requirements more easily, the use of high-strength, tested and proved RUD lashing points is recommended. They meet the stated requirements up to the marking with their permissible tensile force LC (lashing capacity [daN]) and offer highest quality standard “Made in Germany”.

RUD has developed a complete range of high-strength lashing points. Well known manufacturers have already made active use of these possibilities. These are forged suspension rings made of high-quality alloy steel. In addition to the popular weldable variants, which can also be retrofitted by certified welders, there are also boltable lashing points with LC markings available from RUD.

The CAD data of the RUD lashing points can be downloaded from www.rud.com to be used in own CAD designs.
