Tool & mould making.
Rotating and turning – more safety during the lifting process.
As the tool and mould making industry works very closely with the injection moulding industry, the turning of the fully assembled mould must already be taken into account for later use. This special application should therefore already be included in the CAD models of tools and moulds.
As a rule, moulds are supplied with pre-assembled stops. RUD offers a variety of lifting points that are suitable for standard lifting operations, but can also be used specifically for turning and flipping.

Section 20 of the German Road Traffic Act clearly states that loads must be secured. To ensure this, trailers and semi-trailers, for example, must be equipped with lashing points. And a sufficient number of them. As the manufacturers do not know the type of load being transported in advance, the vehicles are usually not optimised for every application in terms of lashing points.
This is where RUD comes into play. As an experienced system provider, we offer customised advice and optimum product solutions. From the design of the correct lashing points to the actual load securing. Good to know: RUD lashing points can also be retrofitted at suitable points in consultation with the vehicle manufacturer.

For the safe transport of heavy goods, not only the design of the lashing points on the trailer is extremely important, also the attachment of the lifting points to the load. This is because handling heavy assemblies requires particularly careful load securing. This is the only way to ensure that the load arrives at its destination undamaged.
The interaction between vehicle manufacturer, service provider and customer is therefore very important, especially in heavy goods transport. Only if the trailer is equipped with the right lashing points and these are positioned in the right place can the load be secured in accordance with the requirements. Harsh environments and adverse environmental influences – this is the norm for marine and offshore applications. Corrosion and changing weather conditions place high demands on the material. Only extremely robust designs that have been constructed for these applications can fulfil the corresponding requirements under these special conditions. Tasks in the field of power generation place very specific demands on the movement of components – and therefore also on the lifting and lashing equipment. It is a clear advantage if the heaviest loads can be lifted and moved with the same lifting points from production to commissioning. This ensures both safe handling and reliable internal transport.
